The Silver Sky ruffled a couple of feathers when it was launched. This John Mayer signature guitar is based on his vintage Stratocaster from the 60s. The Silver Sky brings the Strat recipe right up to date, with a host of small refinements that make it a lot easier to live with. So this is a guitar that plays beautifully, it's utterly comfortable and stable - but it doesn't do so at the expense of soul. Just a lovely instrument for any scenario, and in the best colour it ever came in.
Condition: excellent, with light play wear (light surface scratches, a somewhat more visible buckle scratch on the back). Fully original, no repairs.
