This is one of these legendary great quality Japanese guitars from the 70s. This semi-hollow, 30" scale length Les Paul Recording Bass copy was probably made at Matsumoku, Hoshino Gakki or Fujigen - there's no way to tell and the Master brand has slipped into obscurity. This is a lovely bass guitar, light and resonant, with a detailed, thunderous sound and a great neck profile. As you'd expect, it's really well built as well.
Condition: excellent, with light play wear. The exception to this is a sloppy repair to the top wing of the headstock (a thin piece broke off - no big headstock break), as well as a long superficial scratch on the back of the neck. Fully original and fully functional.
