From Ibanez' Bass Workshop series, this beautiful fretless bass has a wider semi-hollow body and a piezo pickup system, giving it a sound that gets close to an upright bass (but dial the tone knob back, and you get classic electric fretless tones). It's a special instrument, lively and with a lot of character. It reacts and sounds much more like an acoustic instrument than an electric one, and is a perfect fit for more lyrical playing.
