Before Ibanez became known for its own designs, it specialised in truly excellent copies of American guitars, the lawsuit guitars. They build them in Japan with the same standards of quality they offer nowadays - way better than Gibson or Fender could do in the 70s. This is such a lawsuit guitar, obviously copying the Gibson SG. It's a sweet machine, offering loads of vintage feel and tone for little cash. The bolt on neck construction may not be exactly like the original, but it gives the guitar a little more spank and clarity. It works perfectly and is ready to play.
Condition: very good - all original without repairs, and with a couple of lacquer nicks
