This is a very rare and exceptionally clean Höfner from the 60s. It combines the styling and appointments of the President with the bolt-on construction 4580 and is likely a one of or prototype (though the boundaries between Höfner's models are generally reasonably vague, they used the parts they had available). It features iconic Höfner elements like the diamond pickups, vine inlay on the headstock, compensator tailpiece and the rectangular control panel. This guitar plays really well and sounds like a dream. The spruce top has a lovely grain pattern.
Condition: excellent with very little traces of use
Modifications: the tuners have been replaced, the new ones are very high quality ones from a small manufacture in Germany
