The Beluga is a lot of bass: a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, paired to a maple neck and very flexible electronics. The two Dyna-Rail pickups can be used in active or passive mode. As a passive bass, it has a nice vintage tone - fairly dark, with a strong fundamental. In active mode, the 18V electronics and four band EQ allow you to sculpt the tone to your liking, with more clarity and punch. The six way rotary switch gives you plenty of single coil and humbucking combinations. On top of that, this is a great looking instrument, and very comfortable to play.
