An interesting bit of guitar history, the Gretsch TW series was created in the late 80s as a signature model for the superest supergroup of all supergroups, the Traveling Wilburys (featuring George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty). You can see this model being played by Harrison in the clip for "Handle with Care". It was also a very important guitar model in bringing the Gretsch brand back, with renewed ownership by the Gretsch family.
As far as the TW-300 itself: it's built like a Danelectro, with a semi hollow body made from fibreboard. Its simple setup features a Strat-style vibrato and a splittable single humbucker. And of course, it's got a wild paint job. This one has had a good setup so it's good to play. A collector's piece for lovers of rock'n roll history.
Condition: very good and fully original, only very minor play wear. There's a bit of lacquer blemishes on the shoulder of the guitar, and a lacquer crack at the neck pocket (common for bolt-on guitars and of course not affecting stability or playability).
