The ASAT Special was Leo Fender's final word on the Telecaster design, with a bridge that offers better sustain than the original, and pickups with an expanded tonal range. This mint ASAT Special from the mid 00s is built extremely well, a joy to play and will fit in any genre. G&L are now for their consistent high quality, and if you want an instrument that will do it all and never let you down, you could do a lot worse than this beautiful ASAT.
