It's a fast and smooth playing guitar though, especially when playing finger style. Good acoustic tone from the guitar, with loads of sustain.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tone from the two humbuckers is excellent and sits somewhere between an SG and a Strat (not surprising giving the construction). The humbuckers are unpotted and quite microphonic - depending on how you'd use it, that's an advantage or something to fix. This RB6 Standard from 2017 features an alder body, super smooth maple neck and a thick rosewood fretboard. The finish is medium distressed. This beautiful instrument features stellar P90 pickups and a no-nonsense wraparound bridge. Tonally, that combination would imply balls-and-ovaries-to-the-wall rock 'n roll: the Fano happily obliges, but can offer so much more. It's very responsive to the touch, super resonant and sustains well. The 70s models are great as well - there's not much to mess up on these stripped down beauties. Whereas a '78 Strat or Tele will likely be a plasticky boat anchor, this Musicmaster is under 3.2 kgs, resonant and light to play. For some reason, Fender continued using nitro finishes on Mustangs, Duo-Sonics and Musicmaster for much longer than on other guitars. This guitar's finish has rather fetching crazing and checking, especially on the sides. Its single pickup sounds phenomenal and the neck profile is super comfortable. Get yourself one of these minimalist machines - it will help you focus on your playing, and you'll be too cool for school.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCondition\u003c\/strong\u003e: all original, very good with lacquer checking on the sides and a couple of smaller nicks. Around 2016, Supro reissued a couple of classic Valco guitar designs and made them to very high standards. The hampton comes with great sounding gold foil pickups on a lightweight Alder body, with a neck featuring a 25,5\" scale length and a really lovely, quite fat, neck profile. A five way switch gives access to several out of phase options as well, so this guitar covers a lot of sounds, all of them with loads of clarity and defined bass. The phaser sounds extremely classy and will go from subtle, slow swirl to leslie-type organ sounds.
